That’s Right… I’m a Winner.

I love checking out other people’s blogs when I have time. Usually when I need a break from editing AND don’t want to get caught up on facebook ( I swear that place is like crack sometimes). I’ll go thru different photographer blogs and check out their stuff! As much as possible I try to leave comments because I know how much I love comments, and I want to just spread that love around. lol

Well today I get an nice surprise in my inbox informing me that I am the 500 commenter on Courtney Reece’s blog and that my prize is a $15 Itunes gift card! I was so excited! I never win anything( does that make me a loser?!) so the was definitely a pleasant surprise and really made my day.

Anyways, since a post is ALWAYS better with a picture… Here is a photo of the bucket of KFC Original that I had to move Heaven and Earth to get for my dear sweet mother because she had a craving for it. Okay maybe not Heaven and Earth… but the new construction they have going on really had me turned around. Don’t you hate it when you can SEE where you are trying to go but just can’t seem to figure out how to get there?! I literally wanted to park my car at Bill Miller’s BBQ and just walk to KFC. lol Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the chicken Ma. Love ya!

Rhonda & Cornelius

I know, I know. I am such a slacker. lol But I wanted to post pics from the engagement session I had in Houston with Rhonda & Cornelius (aka Tim who by the way I tried to give ANOTHER nickname too when I kept calling him Will. lol). They are such an fun couple and I love shooting with them.

Along to help was Michelle who will be helping me with their wedding in July, Shonta of Cater 2U who will be catering this fabulous affair, Rhonda’s daughter Lyric, who claims she’s never getting married (15 years from now we’ll see if she feels the same. lol) and lovely makeup artist LaTasha Rose who met Rhonda at her home to get ready. Yes we had a full crew, but Shonta, Latasha & Lyric really stepped back and let us do our thing. Below are a few shots, and then a spiffy slideshow. Gabrielle: girl you know i love these pictures. my friend is sitting here watching the slideshow and she loves them too. lol. she said she's loving all this black love.

Jé: LOL Thanks you guys. It was easy to snap such beautiful photos because they are such a beautiful couple. Can't wait til July!

Sneak Peak: Rhonda & Cornelius

What is up people?! I just got back from Houston a couple of hours ago and I am dead tired. I can’t handle that trip the way I use to… but I was really excited to get back tonite and look at Rhonda & Tim’s engagement pictures. I had so much fun shooting them! They kept us laughing as you can tell from this sneak peak I’m gonna post before I hit the hay…

Janica Boles: Oh my gosh, are they cute or what?? LOVE the expressions going on in these shots. Gorgeous all around.

Shonta Smith: Rhonda & Tim are two of the best clients an event planner can ask for. The love they share radiates from their photos! I can't wait for the wedding!

Sarah Parent: The second photo makes me smile :) You can tell they are a fun couple! Great job!
