It’s Kaleb!

February 18, 2009
Well I’ve had a very eventful last few days… what about you?! I think my sleep is STILL a little off but I will get back on schedule eventually and I might post pictures of my eventful weekend… which… again I forgot to get a picture of myself. Dang. Next time.

Anyways, before I go to bed I wanted to post some pictures I took of my best friend’s newest edition born on Feb. 4, 2009. I drove up to Austin Monday afternoon… in the rain no less… but I had been wanting to see him since the minute his daddy sent out that mass picture mail with his lil photo two weeks ago. That darn flat tire threw a lil crimp in my plans last week, but it’s all good. Without further ado, introducing Kaleb Jeremiah Morgan…

Here is one of Kaleb with big brother KJ… I don’t know how interested KJ was in taking this photo but he did it to appease mommy, daddy and auntie Jenny. Thanks lil Man. lol

Happy Birthday Audrey!

February 13, 2009

There’s that old saying when it rains it pours… and as I sit here waiting for my dad to take me to get my tire replaced, that saying is ringing VERY true… but having a flat tire, and being stranded in the house all week is nothing compared to the week I had last month when it wasn’t just raining… or pouring… there were monsoon like waters raging in my life…

So when Kem asked if I wanted to come to Aubrey’s first birthday that weekend, I was more than happy to go. I love children, and for the most part they like me… You know… they’re little, I’m little… It’s all good and… of course I had to take my own baby (my camera) with me to join in on the festivites.

Aubrey was knocked out when I first got there. They were lettting her get her nap out so she’d be wide awake for the party but big sister Ashlyn kept us entertained until she woke up by blowing bubbles for us in her princess dress. I think she said she was sleeping beauty, but I could be mistaken. lol

Here’s one I had a lil fun in photoshop with. Of course I forgot the original… I’ll just have to dig it up and post it here one day.

Clif Turns the Big 3-0

February 4, 2009

Recently one of my good friends from college celebrated his birthday. Clif and I go way back to our days at what was former known as Southwest Texas so I was happy to be a part of his 30th birthday celebration and of course I had to bring my camera to document this auspicious occassion. (See that? Big words to show that I did in fact go to college. lol)

It was hosted at a downtown smoothie shop downtown called Bubblehead owned by Albert, Sarah, Urban & Christine. They offer a variety of Bubble teas and smoothies and they also have an expressive display of contemporary art hanging on the walls. I saw a lot of people I hadn’t seen in a while including his mom whom I hadn’t seen since our air conditioning stopped working one week and I went over there to escape the grueling heat of Texas in August.

side note: If you’ve never been to Texas, please do not plan your trip during the month of August expecially if you are use to cool northern climates. 105 degree weather with high humidity is not something to mess with… but I digress. Enjoy!
