Shakerra & Will

September 24, 2009

I have gotten a lot done this morning off very little sleep, and something is telling me it may be time for a nap! But before I do anything else, I wanted to post a slideshow. Last month I shot Will & Shakerra’s wedding in Houston, TX. I had recently seen Shakerra a few weeks before to shoot her bridal portraits which came out beautiful, even amidst a few setbacks getting her portrait printed. lol

The actually wedding day was awesome. My bride was as pretty as well, a picture and my groom was very handsome. They got married in the beautiful El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. I literally fell in love with that staircase. Also, I had the extreme pleasure of working with Shonta of Cater 2U again. If I ever get married she will be the lady I call to do the meal… Do you do road trips girl?!

Anyways let me know what you think of the show. Congratulations again Shakerra & Will. And thanks again for letting me a part of your special day.

Shonta: Mr. & Mrs. William Brown what a beautiful couple! I loved working with you guys to make your wedding an event to remember! Your love shines through on these photos!

Patty: Great pictures! Beautiful couple! And you're right, the staircase was awesone! May God bless the happy couple.

Mr.& Mrs. Kirt Young: To our niece and nephew we wish you both all of Gods blessing today, tomorrow and forever. Love you always

Rhonda & Cornelius

September 9, 2009

It’s raining right now, and I’d love no more than to just crawl up in the bed right now and let the sound of rain drops failing on the roof lull me back to sleep. Man I miss the days of tin roofs when I use to live in Panama. Though I don’t love what all the rain use to do to my hair. Lord have mercy!

Speaking of rain, last month when I shot Rhonda & Cornelius’ wedding in Houston Texas, the rain decided it wanted to descended on us as well. Not a good look if you ask me (ESPECIALLY since I just got my hair done earlier for the first time in YEARS), but God was so faithful because He dried up the skies long enough for Rhonda to make it from the hotel to the church… before He opened them up again. lol

It rained throughout the ceremony but stop by the time it was over. We were told it is good luck when it rains on your wedding day, so I am sure that was an indication that these two will have a very long blessed marriage. Congratulations again you guys… & let me know when you are ready for me to take pictures of those future kids.

Shonta: Rhonda & Cornelius, Your photos are amazing! I'm so happy that you trusted me with your special day! Love & Blessings

Crystal: Thank you once again for letting me be involved in such a special occasion. You two are a beautiful couple. I pray that god continues to bless your union.
